The National Arboretum Canberra is a botanical garden home to 104 forests of rare, endangered and symbolic trees. With the support of the ACT government and several institutions like ANU and Engineers Australia, it aims to create and nurture a living collection of forests for recreation, education and conservation. In this project, I worked on Dynamic Identity Design for The Arboretum, as well as an interactive web page introducing the history of Ginkgo Biloba.

There are 10 varieties of logo shapes and dozens of coloured versions generated using p5.js Logo generator.
Here are a series of e-posters which could be applied on different electronic billboards. The canvas sizes and the texts are all customisable, easy to be applied in various themes and various electric devices.
The geometric illustrations we created for the posters are inspired by the geometric orders of the landscape of The Arboretum. We combined the single elements to make patterns in p5.js, and added some randomness to the positioning and colours, so that we can generate a rich number of different but coherent patterns.
I created an interactive webpage, introducing the history of Ginkgo Biloba, which is an important endangered tree planted in The Arboretum. This page is designed to be displayed on touchscreens in galleries of The Arboretum venue. The design targets teenagers and aims to raise their interests and awareness of plant conservation.
